Understanding the legal system, and its general functions in the social-economic order. A preliminary survey of the general concepts found in Business Law. The student will be exposed to legal, ethics, and regulation terminology, concepts, and reasoning found when working within the Nigerian business and government environment. Introduction to law of contracts, property, torts, securities regulation, antitrust, and intellectual property. Process and problems of negotiating and drafting agreements. Legal issues relating to negotiating and drafting of a contract between parties. Relationship between science and law
with advancements in technology. Governmental regulatory agencies and policies to regulate business practices, control prices, conserve resources, or promote competition. Principles and practices of regulatory environments.
